When mine need replaced I go to my local truck store (big Trucks) and get new ends that solder on they also have the solder bullet (a bullet looking piece of solder)

Just cut off the old ends cut back an inch or so of insulation, have someone hold the new end up straight and heat it up with a bottle torch with bullet inside, after it melts CAREFULLY install end of wire and let cool , about 1 minute.

The ends come in + and -

Hope this helps

Mine needs is too. Do you think NAPA has something like this? If not, what kind of 'big Truck' store is it? Name? I don't know of any big rig truck parts shops around.

Thanks, JJ

Napa should have them, They may not have the solder bullets but you can get a roll of rosin or acid core solder at your hardware store.

Don't let anybody talk you into the clamp on type they are cheap and they are junk

Hope that helps

When I can't find a local operation that sells what I need, I've done a goggle search and have had good luck that way. Might be worth the effort. ;)
