2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission battery tray removal ?

The vacuum line to my cruise servo has corroded off. I tried with no success to reonnect a line to the servo without removing the battery tray. Not having a FSM I tried to remove all the obvious fasteners but have been unable to budge the tray. What am I missing?

You gotta lay on the ground looking up at the inner fender liner behind the headllight, under the battery. Two (10 or 12mm) nuts that attach to studs on a retaining plate. Remove those and lift the battery tray out.
