Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) BBD Gets a motor update, Thanks PDR

Well big thanks go out to the fine crew at Piers Diesel Research the BigBadDodge has some new motor updates.



We started by adding a port mached ATS Manifold that bolts up to the already stage III head, mounted the exstreme exsternal billet wastegate to the correct location on top of the manifold, as opposed to the side of the snail like previously. Bolted up a Pro52 on top of a BigBrother and stepped up the plumbing to 4" We removed the pump and tweaked it to 820 CC's, bumped the timming to 24, and cranked it to 4500 rpm's, and added some bigger sticks



Larger intercooler is on the way also.

I like the porting job on the ATS, was that done CNC or by hand? I did mine by hand but once I pull the head off soon, I will be matching them up to the ATS.

Does that extreme wastegate dump into the hot pipe going to the big brother or does it dump into your exhaust?

that is an impressive set-up,been to the dyno yet?
