So DD hooks me up with a good used DDUFM and I buy it. First my money has to get there. Then the owner decides to get me a new wiring harness rather than yanking his out. More time. Then he ships it UPS last Friday. It went from Vegas to Phoenix and now is in a time warp. 36 hours in Phoenix. They "routed incorrectly at UPS facility" so now it appears that it has to go through the whole facility again.

My Friday delivery date has been pushed back to Monday. :{

Never have I had trouble with UPS. Guess they have to cut corners somewhere to pay for all that advertising. Next time it's NEXT DAY AIR BABY!!!

BBGT = big brown goody truck.

update: beware the AZ time rift

Okay now it's on the road. 46 hours in Phoenix !

Now they've changed the delivery date back to Friday--yeah, right. Now all I can do is pray for dry roads when it does get here.

Gotta mow the grass under my shop-tree.

AND THEN (while I'm venting) Geno's sends me a light for my Westach and it gets crushed in the mail.

But overall, I'm a real lucky guy... Comp-time's a comin', Comp-time's a comin'... ;)

ROFLMFAO @ NICK!!!!!!!!!!

disclaimer: "F" in this case = FAT!!!!

p. s. could it be the "Arizona Triangle"?????

Waltz Across Texas

Now they're dragging it across TX. First, El Paso (ate some great Mexican food out there once--actually Fabens) last scan was Mesquite--which is where I bought my very first tank of fuel the night I bought my truck!

Next stop Shreveport, then Memphis (thank you very much) and then Whites Creek (Nashville) then "out for delivery" to my house. I've tracked before.

And they bumped the delivery back to Monday.

Just one more Saturday night for the poor, underpowered 24v to be picked on. ;)

C'mon Wade I'll run ya! I'm tired of all the import's thinking "they got something" around here!Oo. :-laf

Picked off another Honda or Hyuadi whatever the heck it was Monday. Women thought she was gonna leave my BIG TRUCK. :-laf

I'm gonna have to quit this or I'll be buying that SBC sooner than I think!

hooo raaah (scent of a woman)

Yep, them leetle ricers better get all they can while I'm shuffling the first few gears, 'cause once I hit direct and (as someone else said) 'the big dog starts to eat' they have to get the hell out of the way.

Of course I try to pick my fights upwards of 50mph and 70 is better.

Anyway the DDUFM is in TENNESSEE!:)--no wait that's in route from Shreveport at 9pm. and it's been rescheduled again for delivery tomorrow. It is possible, but I ain't going to lose sleep over it... or am I?

That's pretty good time from LV, if you discount the 53 documented hours of sitting still.

So I called Blue Chip today and ordered the VP44 cover and said SECOND DAY AIR!!! I've got a feeling that I'll do all my BOMBING that way--get faster mo' faster!
