Just installed the 4" BD and jardine 4" both are A1 products, the brake takes a little getting used to and the 60# springs are on the list i guess ,adjusting the brake from the directions is impossibe a phone call is required as it only mentions you MUST do but not how too. A camoing trip next week so a chance to try out the new toys Life IS GOOD.

Hopefully mine is sitting on the doorstep right now. What kind of mounting did the brake have, band clamps, flanges, or weld on? Are the adjustments difficult?

The flanges are weld on or at least the input side. The adjustment is simple enough ,at idle adjust the cylinder that activates the gate so that the presure is 13lbs I think it was with out the 60# springs, object is to leave the valve open a little when the cylinder is fully extended. I elected to use a small soft touch switch from radio shack that I mounted on the gear shifter so that a simple touch of the index finger is all thats required,I don't care for the sound at idle sitting still and this made it simple and convient to turn off,BD had a switch for $25 or so this one was $2. 29.

I rec my 4" BD brake yesterday. Dang! they sent me a 3" instead. Oh well, send it back and wait some more. Price is right through group purchase though.
