I was at the rear of the pack out of US Customs last time. Everybody left and I didn't know where I was going. I asked for direction's and finally found BD.

I was playing on the new dyno today #ad

This thing has more options than you can shake a stick at. Have'nt figured out how to tell it to make lunch yet though #ad

We can set it up to simulate loads up to 22,000lbs, do 0-60' times, 1/4 mile times, match HP, torque & rpm . What kind of testing do you guys want, just HP & torque or should we set up for 1/4 mile times? One thing we will need to know, to give you the most accurate figures, is the weight of your truck. Give me some feedback so we can setup for what you guys want... oh I already know that answer... 500HP 1200FT LBS torque no smoke & 30+ mpg #ad

When it comes to the dyno runs, all I'm interested in is hp and torque.

If it helps to know the exact weight of your Ram, I'd suggest that we all look for some truck scales during the next month and get weighed. I know that quite often the closed truck scales leave the scales turned on and you can get weighed for free by just stopping on the scale.

I live across the street from the END OF THE SEATAC AIRPORT RUNWAY,DOESEN'T TAKE ME BUT 2 MIN TO GET TO THE GATES. THE AIR LINE MIGHT charge you for real heavy baggage though.

OK,fellas. Ive been down here raising h*^l with the Dodge dealer,DC and everybody in between. My truck goes in the 9th to get the vacuum/power steering drive gear replaced and hopefully cure the screaming Cummins. I will seriously consider going. I need to get with Mike Clay and see what he may be doing as well. Will let you know soon.

Hay guys,

Just a thought about what Piers said about needing to know the weight of the truck for some of the dyno fuctions. Those of us that will be heading out from Renton, we can make a short stop at the truck scales in south Everett on our way north. It would also make for a good photo op with everybody lined up.

Adding another member to the NW BOMBers! An un-named guy from an un-named location (due to "big Brother watching, I will allow him the decision on whether to disclose that!) just emailed me as a new member of TDR and our group. This ought to be a killer convoy! He drives a green 2000 QC.

I live in North Bend, and work in Issaquah, and enjoy the hell out of I-90 in between, everyday.

Hope I can make the next project gathering, because I'm dying to see (and plan) some of the mods I've been reading about. Although after reading this month's TDR, I guess gauges and a baseline are in order, before I order the DD3 kit and some new Sawzall blades. #ad


And I'm not too worried about "Big Brutha" -- I turned down the extended warranty when I bought the rig, because I knew it'd be worthless pretty quickly. When the "closer" at the dealership tried to push it, I asked him if it would still apply after I added an exhaust brake, injectors, and a VA box -- he just grinned and said no more about it. So, if I have a file, it was marked from day 0.

Is your brother gonna take his new truck to Dyno Day? I was at Larson Dodge and saw a '01. 5 2wd truck that looked identical to yours with the name Chris Schwab on the sticker. I assumed it was the on he ordered.

That was the first truck he ordered, he re-ordered the same truck a day later with leather and picked it up last Friday! So the cloth truck is available - Anyone intrested should contact Fleet Manager Jim Minion, he will do $100. 00 over invoice on anything on the lot or any order, just tell him that I sent you down!
