I don't know right now what I'm doing for Dyno Days. My band just gave me this months schedule and we're playing on fri the 26th AND sat the 27th! Right now it's looking like I can go for a few hours if get there late and leave early, but I think the convoy is out for me.

Also if I go I won't be taking my truck (too loaded with gear). It's great to have a backup Cummins!

Seems like we just need to use the same schdule as back in April.

Arrive at NWCummins at 5:15 range. Leave NWCummins at 5:30

Arrive at Wellers Cafe 6:30. Leave Wellers 8:00AM

Arrive Border 9:00AM

I would assume it depends on how they run the dyno. If it similar to what they wanted to do in April, it would seem that there is not a huge rush.

Just getting the ball rolling. And no I am not volunteering other than to call Wellers and let them know were coming.

Seem to me we might want to move up the time about 1/2 hour or more. If I remember right, by the time we got to BD, there was a lot of people there already.

Hey SlyBones,

What's the chance of getting some of that Orange Bread? I think my sweetheart (Kathy) would really like some!

If I remember correctly, what threw off the schedule last time was Weller's and their "slower than frozen molassess in the Arctic" service. I think it took me almost two hours to order, get served, eat and pay my bill. Sad thing is, I think they KNEW we were coming, but either didn't believe we would really show, or didn't care... .....

If the service is going to be that slow again, I'll swing by a Jack in the Box on the way up... ... .....

Wellers knew we were coming,I called them and warned them the last two times we were there.

Here's another problem I forsee... .

You guys may want to get up to the border 1/2 hour earlier, because now it's going to take forever for the border guards to search and let through 20+ trucks.

It will even take longer to get back in..... better have your birth certificate with you.

Birth certificate? Hell, I'm bringing my PASSPORT! Not taking any chances on this one.

As for the border crossing, maybe we should call them in advance and let them know we are coming as well. Couldn't hurt... ... ...

BigBob,

Just remind me a few days before, let me know how many loaves. If I call Thursday the 25th, I can place a special order for the Friday 26th bake. Pick it up Friday afternoon and have it for Sat the 27th no problem. Be happy to.

-- If I only need 1-2 loaves no need for special order. The bakery only makes 8 loaves per day. If I need more than 4 loaves or so then they want me to call and make the special order.

SlyBones,

Kathy says 2 loaves, we would like to get more, however she has put us on a diet. I tried to talk her into more, but boy she is tough. That's alright, I don't mind loosing some weight.

See you soon, Big Bob

sounds like a bombers delight

What kind of bread is it? And if BIGBOB likes its it put me down for 2 loafs too please :)

Hey Fred I look forward to meeting you too

Diesel Freak,

When you meet me, you will understand why there will never be a Little Bob! Just too much of me!

Bob Wagner,

This is the orange bread that Weller's make french toast out of. If you haven't ever had Weller's french toast, you haven't had french toast!

Yep. My wife and I thank Kathy for introducing this to me, about once a month or so.

If I remember correctly is about $2. 50 a loaf. It was back in april right after dyno days when I tracked this down.

Order:

2 - Big Bob

2 - Bob Wagner

2 - Fred ( me )
