If you just want to check the pressure while idling (I think the instructions say 20 psi) then just buy a cheap air pressure gauge from the hardware store with the proper fittings and temporarily connect it to the 1/8" test port on the brake. Then you can check the pressure while at idle and remove the gauge when your done.
Dallas, I did as Mike suggested, and bought a cheap gauge from the local Ace hardware store, and bought a flexible grease gun hose from a NAPA store as the connector. The fittings all matched up. Nick.
