BD Lockout Overdrive Disable

My biggest complaint when using my 05 to tow, is that I cannot lockout overdrive. I can hit the tow/haul button, the transmission will kick down, but a little ways down the road, it drops back into overdrive. I read up on this kit and sounded like what I needed. Install time took me under 2 hours. Instead of tying into the cigar fuse under the hood, I took my dash off around the radio and spliced into the switched power wire at the back of the cigar lighter. I thought my wire would be better protected inside the truck, rather than running the wire thru the engine compartment. While I have not towed with the BD unit installed, I have tried it several times and works as described in the directions. If I remember right, this is only a problem with the 05 model trucks.

Dodge came out with a TSB that would make the tow/haul button lock out over drive, instead of modifying the shift points and shifting habits.
