Bd low pressure light?? comes on alot

I just installed a bd low pressure fuel light and with my edge Attitude set a 0 it still comes on at around 2500-2700 rpm.

If I turn anything up it comes on real soon!!!

Is a FASS going to be my best fix for this issue??

Yup! stock fueling will pull the pressure down real bad, the juice will pull it to 0 easy. stock pressure is only 6-7 psi.

The BD is set at something like 4-5psi... which by the sounds of it, you are pulling it past that...

The BD low pressure indicators are really meant for 98. 5 to 02 trucks. If you are monitoring a 2003 and up I would recommend getting a fuel pressure gauge to check your pressure.

I agree, I put on a FP guage and I was only seeing 5-6 psi at idle w/ running my EZ only and at WOT it would pull down to 2-3. Not good. A person w/ a 3rd gen. should be sitting between 9-12 psi at idle. A FASS will help you out alot. I'm having one installed ina few weeks, so my fueling problem will be no more.

I did not know that about the light.

Where and what is the cost for a gauge set up?

Are they made to mount inside the cab?

Thanks new to this diesel world and only want to do it once if you know what I mean.

Speaking of that light... . if I have something plugged into my cigarette light and I drive the truck for a while, the light will turn on when I shut the truck off and slowly dim down. Weird! Not sure what I did in the wiring to do that. I get power from an ignition on 12v from the fuse box.
