I saw a used bd plug and power for sale in the classifieds and it was used on a 99 model 24 valve. My question is will this module fit my 2000 24 valve. It was manufactured in Dec 99. Also on a Pacbrake what is the difference between electronic hookup and ecm hookup and which is better?

I can't answer the question about the plug and play but I can help with the pac-brake. My Dad has a pac brake and has used both systmes. The first system used a micro switch to tell when the go peddle is depressed or not and turned the brake on and off with that. It was a fairly unrelaible since it wiggled around alot and got dirty. Then pack brake came out the the ecm hook up that turns the brake on two seconds after the go peddle has been released. They sent the upgrade to my Dad and it hasworked like a champ ever since.

Thanks for the info on the Pacbrake. I plan on purchasing the one in the classifieds, but I guess I can order the upgrade for the ecm hookup from Pacbrake. Any idea as to what the upgrade would cost?

B&D

I guess i can't be absolutely sure, but i think that b&d will fit yours. Could write B&D and find out. That's what i have on my '99 and it sure works great. Real easy to install, and take off for those dealer visits

Yes, the Plug & Power will work. My Y2K was also built in Dec. '99, and thats what i have on mine. Really like it.

Makes the truck run alot more responsive at low rpms, and you dont lose smoothness. The truck should run like that from the factory.
