i have had nothing but trouble with all 15k worth of bd crap and most is still sitting in the garage. it was twin turbos, intercooler, trans and boost fooler ect. i went through multiple tyrannies and intercoolers and have had many problems with loren at the warranty end. i am now running industrial injection turbos both trucks and suncoast trans well look at my sig. i have over 200k in two trucks and have ran alot of different combos. it is just my opinion on bd but if they were the last company on earth to get stuff for my dodge i would just by a ford and thats hard to say. if you want some help to set up your truck up you can pm me and let me know what you want to do. I don't sell the stuff or install it im just a user with a rather bad habit of fixing everything on my truck and making it better.

I am no expert by any means, but I run the Super B and am pleased. Probably only have 10k on it, and it is much improved over the HX35, at least for my truck.

Wow Cody sounds like you had a bad experiance. As far as turbo choices you have a hard time beating the super B turbo from BD I have installed dozens of them with no problems. Good all round turbo for 400 usable hp. I would also install a pulse manifold at the same time.

As far as the quality of BD products I run a proto type set up from them in my drag truck and also their race trans. I have their full set up in my Mega Cab with no problems also. The Mega Cab dynos a solid 700 hp and the Race truck over a grand...

I have broken alot of stuff but I am pushing alot of HP through parts and I am fairly abusive to my stuff.....

BD has always treated me fair.

Cody,

How are the II twins doing?

I have a SB 62 on my truck now, 519 hp & 1078 tq.

I'm looking for the 600 hp area as my next upgrade.

What kind of twin setup are you running from II ?

I had a Super B on my 97 for about 50K very hard miles and did not have a single problem. I now have BD twins on the same truck for about 12K miles and haven't had any problems.

Super B on my pickup, with alot of heavy towing. Its done well for me so far, but I am looking for more airflow on the heavier loads... . Talking about weights in the 30k GCW range.

TRAMPLINEMAN,

What is the difference between the single & twins that are now on your truck?

Is the power any better?

When I had the single I only had one turbo. With the twins, I have two. :-laf Just kidding. The truck had plenty of power with the single. But, along with everything else I own, after time I need change. The twins made a big difference. Egt's are down about 300*s which is nice cause it keeps the engine temps down. Throttle response is alot better. When you push the pedal the truck takes off like a bullet.

Was it worth the experience? Yes.

Would I do it again? Probably not. Once was good enough for me. I broke ALOT of parts along the way, sure would be nice to have that money back. :{

That setup is similiar to what I started with. The Super B, #5 plate, 100hp injectors, tweeked pump and built transmission is what I started with. It ran pretty good till I put a 4KGSK in. My egts were off the charts. Four trannys, two intercoolers and three heads later I'm done sinking money into this truck.

I have no guess to what your numbers would be, sorry.
