BD Short Shift Kit for 2004.5 NV5600

Has any one out there installed a GENO Short Shift Kit? I just ordered one and have been looking how cup holder around shifter comes out, and is there any tricks or traps I should lookout for?

i put the bd short shifter on my 04. . it is pretty straight forward. bd's instructions are not too bad iirc.

cup holder has screws under the rubber base liners. there are also screws under the 4x4 shifter. the boot for both just pull out [5600 pull up at edge closest to center console and the back has tabs that go into slots so it is up and roll out]

the factory service manuals also have some good pic's & instructions on how to remove the console
