BD Short Shift

What are the impressions that anyone has had with the BD Short Shift kit. Hoping to get one installed before the ATS event in Colorado in July... TIA... Scott

on my nv 4500 i absolutely love it wouldnt own another 5 speed dodge with out one... takes some gettin used to though

Have one on my 02 6sp, love it! It did exactly what it claimed. My shift throws went from about 6-7" to about 4-5". Still thinking about heating the shift lever ever so slightly though with a torch to get it about an inch closer though...

I bent mine a little when I first put in the kit. I had things apart for iPod wiring and while the shifter was out, I bent it more. I think I've bent it enough now, that I want to put a bend the other direction at the top.

It sure makes the drink holders more useable having the shifter moved over.

Me too. I installed it 3 times before I got it to seal without leaks, (it was an early version that has since been improved) but still worth the effort.

i like mine... no leaks on mine, but i didn't use the goo that ships with it, i used dow corning 824 to seal it

I got no goo and the bolts and bushings were for a different plate style. I must've gotten a kit right at the changeover.
