Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) BD Short Shifter For NV4500

Is anybody using the bd short shifter on there nv4500, is it worth the money and how hard is it to install? Thanks for the imput!!

I just installed the 5 speed kit yesterday and it was easy to install, took about a half hour to an hour taking my time. The shifts are nice and short, very tight, and it makes a positive click as it goes into gear. Before I installed the kit my shifter I had about an inch of play back and forth when in gear, now when in any given gear the shift lever is tight (no play). It takes a little bit to get used to the shorter throw as a couple of times I thought I wasn't all the way in gear while shifting I think it was well worth the money, I can shift quite a bit faster and better and it makes the truck more sporty and enjoyable to drive.
