Believe me, there is torque managment on the 48RE also. There are a couple ways they monitor it and if you can find a way to eliminate it, it livens things up a little.

could you tell me what are the different ways to get rid of the speed limiter on the 03/04 dodge

I really don't think that there is that much to gain from eliminating the top speed restriction. It's been some time, but I believe prior to any mods, my truck would only go 107mph before it would shut down. After some work, I can hit about 117mph. At that point, with 3. 73/standard gears, you begin to hit around 3300-3400 rpms in OD. You start to lose your fueling curve and will start to hit the governor. Is 10mph worth $$? Probably not. .
