I've got a BD torque convertor and valve body. Both have performed flawlessly. Even with my mods( see sig line), neither has so much as burped. Sorry if this doesn't answer your specific question.

I haqve a BD transmission in my 97' and so far with new turbo and fuel mods it's holdin fine, but don't know for how long it's only rated for 450hp. When I was around the 325hp mark it performed good with th BD pressure-loc.

Had mine rebuilt at Gillece in the South Hills for just over 2700, upgraded TC, high performance frictions, higher line pressure. . That price is installed, tested, done, with 1yr 12k warranty. They didnt offer a longer warranty unfortunately. I got about 7500mi on it so far, been runnin great cept for a quick 1-2-3 shift which from what I've heard is tough to get rid of on an empty truck. I`ve got my power tweaked up a bit with my homemade #10, prolly runnin around 250hp somethin. . no dyno close that I know of.

Just had a BD trans installed with a Tow Loc and Torq Loc into my 98. Towed 9000 IBS the day I picked the truck up(last friday). I have put 500 miles on it in the last 3 days.



So far it exceeds my expectations.

i heard really good things from reliable sources so i had my transmission rebuilt at a local shop here and had a bd torque converter and vb installed, i really like it, it holds up well to setting 9 on the tst box (wish i could say the same for the turbo) and shifts nice and positive. i am in the same boat as i will be close to 450 with infectors and a turbo, that will be the real test. so far so good.
