Edge A2 or Attitude Mounting Pics?

Experience with SBC 3600 or 3850 DD clutches

I hate to bring up the transmission thread again, but I've searched and searched and found nothing on BD. I want to give all transmission possibilities a look. I specifically want to hear from BD owners, good or bad experiences. I'm thinking about BD twins too. Thanks.

I have the BD twins and am happy with them. I only know of one guy who has a BD transmission, TDR member SMARSHALL. I talked to him about 6 months ago and he was very happy with it.

I had the complete BD transmission installed about 3yrs ago. About 80k miles ago. I am very happy with it. Works fine and no problems at all. These last 80k miles have been 99% pulling a big horse trailer , at 12k to 15k lbs. I have a horse and carriage business and that is all we use the truck for. 95' CTD. Larry.

I love my BD twins. I should be around 650hp on my set right now. Still no egt problems yet.

No experience with their transmissions, though. Sorry!

I abused one of there higher stalling converters in my truck with twins last pulling season and had no troubles with it.

I have installed there V/B and converters in customers trucks and they've been happy with them too.

The best part is here in Ohio Jegs stocks most everything BD makes which means next day free delivery to my place.

I have their converter and valvebody and torque lock and like it a lot with no troubles. Also have the BD single turbo and 90Hp sticks and happy with all except the turbo spools too slow for me but no egt problems. With my set up very little to no boost under 1800RPM, 1800-2000RPM boost at around 5 psi under light load in high gear, anything over 2000RPM hang on it is instant spool to 35-38psi at throttle romp. I will probably upgrade in the future to their twin set and 120-150HP sticks. If and when I snap the stock input or intermediate shaft I will probably go with a BD or DTT full billet transmission.

I think I've seen you post about your slow to spool BD turbo before, did you ever contact BD about this? You are the only (that I can remember) person that has ever said that turbo was slow to spool, most complain that it runs out on top quickly maybe there is a issue with your turbo... Just a thought, I've heard people say they could see close to 10 #'s just reving it up in park or neutral
