I need to upgrade my transmission. I knew I would with addition fuel and boost. I slips in O/D. I'm not sure if it is slipping through the gears. I know I could de-fuel across the rpm range, but what fun would that be? I've been looking into DTT, but don't know if I can afford it right now. Have any of you used BD TC's and valve bodies (or even the whole transmission)? With a stock transmission, will they hold things together to about 350? I really don't know where I'm at right now. The other bonus is there is a local shop that does BD. I'd have to go to Redding, CA for DTT. Thanks in advance!

mine is still together with a transgo shift kit (somehow) i have had small problems but these are my personal results, i cant wait for my DTT though it will be a thousand times better haaa just a few more weeks.

My buddy has a whole bd transmission and his truck is anything but stock. He pulls at the truck pulls too. I plan to get the Bd torgue converter, valve body, and trans commander this summer

BD transmission

I put in a complete BD transmission about 70,000 miles ago. Had about 90,000 miles on truck at the time. It has worked great ever since. I pull a gooseneck 38ft long at about 12k to 16k all the time. Also put on the Mag-hytec deep pan at the same time. That is about 85% of those miles pulling the trailer. Have changed transmission fluid a couple of times. Works fine very happy with BD. Larry.
