I want to order this box, Does anyone have one or know someone who does? Input would be appreciated. P. S. my reason for going this route is I want more than my EZ can produce and I allready have guages so I dont want the juice w/attitude nor do I like the huge price Edge commands for their product.

Anybody??? Well anyway I just called Purformance Diesel in Fredericktown Ohio and orderd one. Cant wait to feel an additional 130 horsepower and 250 wonderful foot pounds of torque :-laf Will be here Friday will have installed Monday the 15th. Anyone install one of these??? I like it cause its non-pressure type... .

I am contemplating the BD x-power plus. Give an update once the box arrives because I haven't been able to find anything either.

Thanks

Same here. I posted a couple of weeks ago wanting info on the Xpower and got no response. Please let us know your results. I've spent money on two boxes already and if I get another one I hope to get it right. I am becoming reluctant to use a pressure box. Since I got the new CP3 and in tank lift pump this truck is running real nice so I am hoping that a timing and duration box will not change this.

Will be glad to let you guys know how it goes... . Although this is just the X-Power not the plus. I dont have enough fuel system for the plus nor do I want something this aggressive. Level 1 on the Plus is 100 horse!!! Then 4 more levels to go!!! thats insane :D Would be radical though with all the right goodies :D I hope with the 130 horse I wont starve her for fuel but I bet it wont be long and Ill be investing in a pump. Thanks for responding guys so I at least know someone is interested. Slow Six what were the other boxes you tried and did not like??? Just for my own reference. Will talk at you 2 on Monday!

OK fellas just to revive this I put my BD X-Power on Tuesday and cant figure ou t why I didnt a long time ago. Big power compared to what I'm used to. Big grins when I roll into it, and I still have 2 more levels I havent touched yet. (do to fuel pressure concern, dont want to run it dry, going to get FASS pusher or something equivalent) Fast installation, took more time to mount switch than anything as I made a cool aluminum bracket and hid it inthe ashtray, close lid for stealthyness :-laf Anyone on here wanting to be in those power ranges should be happy with the X-Power. Big plus its about $400 less than the Juice/Attitude :D

Good to hear. Is there much change in engine sound or noise? The Quadzilla I was using for a while created a noticeable change in engine sounds ,almost a rattle or clattering noise. I just got home from getting the ECM wiring connector harness replaced. It appears they have it fixed. I would like to hear more from you after you have used the Xpower for a few days.

No change in sound at 75 horse level, havent clicked up to 130 yet, going to put a pusher pump on first so as to not dry out the rail. So far Im extremely pleased and would recomend it to others. Seems like a bigger jump than just 10 horse from my EZ box. I ran the EZ on level 3, 65 horse and there is no way it pulled as hard as it does now on 75 horse BD style :-laf Will put the truck through its paces now. All Im going to do now is a Banks Techni-Cooler, FASS pusher pump and a Mag Hy-Tech rear diff. cover. Will keep you posted, let me know if you or someone else gets one..... Smokin Joe

Sweet, I'm glad you like it. Where did you order it from and what was the price? I am planning on the plus model but I didn't realize that the first setting was 100 hp. Maybe I'll go with the standard model.

Remmy ordered from local diesel shop, it was $642 could get cheaper from BD but I felt obligated to this shop as he is local and rather small. Im a hometown boy as much as I can without being rediculous. Truck does haze a grayish smoke at idle dont know if this is the norm but I have a wide open exhaust no cat and such, so Ill runit and see.

Smokin Joe,

Any updates on the power module? How do you like it... . powerwise, milage exc. Some more user experience would be great before I place an order.

Thanks

Remmy, sorry I havent been on TDR for a couple of days. Real busy this spring. I would buy this box again if I had to. I havent ventured past level 2 yet as I still have fuel delivery concerns. (want to upgrade maybe a pusher pump just for safety) I might just be paranoid though as I know several guys run their JUICES on level 5 all the time with stock fuel delivery. i just want to be safe. It has gobs mor power and torque than my previous edge box. Ive seen 45 lbs. of boost at about 1350* of egt. It pulls real hard now and will destroy the BFG's if I want it to (I know I tried :-laf ) Remember this is all on level 2. Ive still got 2 more levels to go, 100 horse and 130 horse :D :D No complaints whatsoever, Ive probably only got like 2-3000 miles on the box but wouldnt trade it for another brand. Easy to hook up (SIMPLE) takes more time to mount the switch then anything. Milage Im afraid I cant say, Im still averaging about 14 miles per gallon (mix of in town and on the road) Plus I punish the loud pedal more now than with the EZ box. The BD on level 2 is only 10 more horse thand the Edge but it feels like 50 more, and thats no lie. Good luck I dont think youll be dissapointed if you get one. Smokin Joe

I pulled the trigger yesterday and ordered the Xpower. I've had way to many problems with the xzilleraider and I want to get away from the pressure only module I have used. I am hoping for some mileage and a power increase while maintaining driveablity and relialability. Should have it next week. I'll try and report back after I've used it.

I've had mine on for a couple of weeks. So far I like it. I have not had a chance for a good tow with a good load but hauling my tool trailer to jobs and back it seems good. It sure brings the empty truck alive. I also think it will make EGTs. I am hoping to get the boost elbow on before this weekend to see if it that will help. I like it a lot better than the Xilleraider and hopefully I will not have all the problems that I've had with the Xilleraider. I have just left it set the way it came. There are two more power levels but as of now I don't see me using them. I may have more to report next week as I will have a short trip hauling the fiver. The Xpower does not change the engine sound nearly as much as the Xilleraider and it has a lot better wiring harness. So far as I know it is timing and duration only, no pressure increase.

I like mine still, set it for 130 horse when I got it but have only had it on 100 horse 3 times and just for a quick burst of the throttle. As I still want some extra fuel (pusher pump). I have only had one glitch which was when I adjusted power level while on the throttle it set check engine light but went out after 5 cycles. No biggie my fault I guess. Otherwise power is quick and nasty, I didnt notice any change in engine noise. As Ive said before I would buy this box again. I tend to like a lot of what BD sells anyway, not everything but a lot.

I finally got around to installing the boost elbow that came with the kit. I was able to hit 40lbs of boost whereas before I could only hit about 26lbs. I am hoping the increased boost will help with EGTs when I am loaded.
