BD's X Monitor... Anyone with info?

I saw BD's ad on the back cover of the new TDR that I just got. I saw the new X monitor. I went on their site and couldn't find any good info on it. I also checked out their price list and could not find it either. Anybody know anything about it and price? I E-mailed BD but as many, I can't wait until tomorrow!!! Chris

i don't know if the x moniter is avalable for the ram, but it is avalable for the ford SD's and the chevy hd's i think. if you go to bd's site and check under the ford products, it should be there

Just checked for ford and chevy and the unit runs $479. 00. That is cheaper than the two SPA guages that I want. Should know tomorrow if available for Dodge.

I installed one of these on my Excursion about 3 weeks ago. I love it. It remembers max values and has alarms for pyro,trans, and boost. $375. 00 from DIS

The BD rep I talked to at Muncie said they were working on a Dodge version that should be available "in one or two months".



He also said the version for our trucks will display fuel pressure, in addition to the pyro, boost, and transmission temp (or oil temp).

Looks as though I might wait until then for guages. Still stock though I am concerned for trans temp when I tow. I hope they make it both ways, pilar mount or dash mount. I don't like the pilar mount. Would be nice if the Dodge model reads out 4 functions. Thanks guys for info. If I find anything out when they E-mail me, I'll post findings. Chris

BD REPLY TO MY E-MAIL

A Dave Dias replied to me from BD and did not have a definate date for the release of the X monitor for the Dodge. I guess I already knew that! Anyway,He said that it would be comparably priced with the Ford unit at about $429. 00. If they get one that can read up to four functions say for a diesel auto, It wouldn't be a bad deal. I will keep bugging them to see if a release date is coming soon. Chris
