OK Guys. Time to step up... ... ... ...

Anyone out there have one of them dumb calendars with all the "This Month Is... ..... Stuff" ?

February is "Pet Dental Health Month". So I thought we need to all step up and brush our pets teeth and also declair February... ... .

Drum roll... ... ...

1st Generation Truck Month!! Oo. Oo. :D :D

What U guys gonna do for your truck this month?

I'll clean out the mouse nest in the glove box

I know Jay changed oil. Good on yah Jay Man!!

Jay changed oil

And the fuel filter. Someday real soon it promises to be warm enough to give her a bath... . might even drag out the shop vac.

With some luck I may get to do new front springs, shocks, and whatever else falls apart during the job.

Isn't everyday First Generation Month? Just changed oil, front brake pads, 1-rotor, waxed her, I'll be putting two new tires, made a cover (plastic) for my BHAF, like to pick-up some nice undented hub-caps/rings... I hope nothing breaks!

Patrick.

This weekend changed the kinked supply like to the inj pump, changed fuel filter, and blew the cobwebs out :)

I would like to get on the phone with that aero whatever and get some parts to put the BHAF on. Also want to pull the interior, fix the dome light wires, put in new stereo wiring, paint the floor with herculiner, put down dynamat, then put the interior back in.

Will wash it when my road dries up, is a mudball right now.

hmm

I just go the oil changed a few days ago... I think this month, I'll treat the Beast to a new fuel filter, air filter (both just ordered from Geno's), and I think I'll clean out the radiator with a good ol' fashion flush, then I'll dress him up with a couple of gauges and PDR HX-35 (or my h1c modified into an hx, same thing). Yay truck! :D Cause ya know, since I don't have a girlfriend (of 4 years  ) anymore, I get to treat this valentines day to someone (more like something) that will appreciate what gifts I buy for it and not complain that it doesn't like white chocolate! :-laf

Just did the oil change, new filter and turned up the power via the Full Power Screw... ... ... ... ..... :D

Now I just have to turn down the idle

... uhhh..... errummuh, well I'm working feverishly on my little Ramcharger so I can get it done so I can start on the Cummins project??? ... . (well uhh, not sure that counts... . :D )

But I am doing the governor spring and messing with the pump shortly... . hmmm, not sure that'll be in February tho... . ahh well I like Patrick's idea anyways - every day is 1st gen day!! Oo.

Well I am gathering the last few thing I need before she gets repainted. It will be March before it goes to the shop, but I think she can tell whats coming.

i tore into the power steering tonight. new seals, and maybe lines. hopefully by the end of the month my exhaust brake will be on as well. i have to finish building it first though. looking for an air compressor as well. speed sensor and crank sensor are on the way, too. oh yeah, lift pump will be here soon too (piston style). i think that will be enough for a while, eh?

february is also black history month  wheres my white history month

How does that relate to the topic? or did you mean Cummins/Dodge history month?

BTW I got her back on the road, she needs a trip to the body shop and have the frame pulled back in line. Then it is rebuild the front end and alignment time.

Hmmm, once the tax return gets here, I think it'll be a pyro and maybe a new turbine housing, since the 21cm is really starting to get to me #@$%! Thinkin' maybe a 14 or 16, haven't decided yet.....

I had to feed the truck a new alternator yesterday - when I changed the oil last week I noticed the old one had a bearing making noise. :( Of course, once I got it off it was quiet as could be. I guess it has been feeling neglected lately... all my money (what little bit I have;)) has been going to the Jeep. :p

new third and forth shift fork, enough labor for one month, next in line, well let me think,... 3 12 inch subs sound good, 2 just isnt enough.

Side Marker Lights

Just had to replace my drivers side yellow. The connector had corroded through. Checked and replaced all the fender markers. Didn't have the replacements for the tailgate.

If you need them, I got mine (in stock) at NAPA. They are the stock Truck-Lite lights. Red is 50-19200R3 and Yellow is 50-19200Y3. They were $2. 39 each.

1st gen's are just like fine wine get better with age.

Adjusting the valves... .

I have alot lined up for mine this month... .

New water pump for the aftercooler... .

Brake's All THE WAY AROUND... .

Injectors,,370's just isnt cutting it... .

Tweaking with P-Pump... .

A new pulse timer for me, so I can play with the timing... .

I washed mine today, it needed it really bad. I think I'll put in the front springs in the next week or so (finally). I really need to do the heater core, but..... I might even try to put the rest of my side trim back on.

Travis. .

you don't have side trim on urs either? I bet urs looks ALOT better than mine, though! I have various piece of side trim missing (i have them all, except for the drivers side front fender) and some still on. The ones that aren't on, there is still the grey adhesive tape still stuck to the paint. Looks bad, but gives it character. The only problem is if I try to take it off, in some spots the paint comes up with it. When I got it repainted, they did a really cheap job, and the the guy got some paint on one of my windows too, and scratched up my grill in the meantime :-{} . But I guess I shouldn't complain, thats the price I pay for letting a friend of mine (auto body student at the time) do it instead of taking it to a pro. Ah well, that'll be another present for it some time down the road!
