you don't have side trim on urs either? I bet urs looks ALOT better than mine, though! I have various piece of side trim missing (i have them all, except for the drivers side front fender) and some still on. The ones that aren't on, there is still the grey adhesive tape still stuck to the paint. Looks bad, but gives it character. The only problem is if I try to take it off, in some spots the paint comes up with it. When I got it repainted, they did a really cheap job, and the the guy got some paint on one of my windows too, and scratched up my grill in the meantime :-{} . But I guess I shouldn't complain, thats the price I pay for letting a friend of mine (auto body student at the time) do it instead of taking it to a pro. Ah well, that'll be another present for it some time down the road!

I took mine off for paint, but it's been almost a year now and the only ones back on are the ones that bolt on (front of fender and cab corner). When I had my paint done I stripped everything off so it wouldn't get damaged and less chance of crappy tape lines.

New tires. Snow was getting dicey, and I had 'em on a truck I bought for the 1978 Crew repower (ongoing!).

Washed for the first time, in, ahem, over a year. It was getting anyone who got within 10' dirty, much less if you leaned on it. I was at the carwash, spraying off dodge and ford parts for the 1978 Crew repower, (ongoing).

Changed the oil and fuel/water filter. Been 5K (highway, nontowing) on the oil and 10K on the filter, while waiting for some paint to dry on the 1978 Crew repower, ongoing.

Hmm, wonder if the neglect is because of all my time spent on the project. I should update that topic a bit.

I am coveting the radiator and intercooler for my repower - the 2nd gen rad/intercooler are too big for the ford front end, the 1992 is sized perfect. Cripes... .

Hopefully will have time to get the cab finished/painted/reinstalled (if my kids quit breaking their cars). It's been a trying time without driving the old beater, but at least I can sit in the cab inside the garage and make diesel sounds.

Yeah. . I've been doing a lot of that too. Probably won't have the diesel back on the road for five weeks or better. (read that ten weeks :( )
