What kind of bed mat to buy?

Tomorrow morning my dad will be heading out from Vermont, pointing towards Iowa. He really doesn't have an itinerary, but he'll be heading south on I91 to I90 west to I80 west over the course of the next couple days. He's delivering my truck to me here at school. I love my parents. If you see him, be sure to give a wave/honk/**small** soot show etc. to say hi. Of course, be sure to look in the truck stops and whatnot as well. He won't have a CB, unfortunately. Just look for the blue/silver short cab with the purple lighted bumper guides and one light on each running board. I'm not sure if he has the tailgate on it or not. All I ask is that y'all keep an eye out for him, make sure he doesn't get into too much trouble.

Thanks a lot, oh, and if you see him, make sure to post it here so I know Oo.

Well, he made it, he got here on Wednesday night around 7:45. It was SOOOOOO nice to see my truck, uhh, I mean my dad. It was so nice to see my dad, yeah, that's it :D

Anyway, I'll have to take some new pics for the reader's rigs.

well... if he makes it all the way out here and can see thru the smoke from all these fires... . I will hold him up with fake gun and take the truck... ... hey at least I am honest!

I haven't seen him here, but then again, not likely that he would find a wrong turn that would enable him to get to South Korea!!!!!!

Which route did he take bringing your truck to you? I know my dad would take the shortest and fastest route. A-to-B. My mom on the other hand would invite her sister to come along, and they'd still be driving.

Shortest route = I91 to I90 to I80, it's a straight shot. That's basically what he did, except for a few side adventures just to break up the highway driving some. Took him 2 1/2 days, not too bad for one person. My dad really has a trucker's mindset - just get there and as fast and as safe as you can. Of course, his 2 brothers-in-law are truckers  :D

I'll be doing the same thing to go home for Thanksgiving in 3 weeks, and then back here a week later, only to come home for Christmas three weeks after, only to not come back. I'll be transferring to SUNY Cobleskill for the spring semester.

Actually, coming home for Thanksgiving, I'll be doing 80 to 81 to 84 into Hartford, CT for my grandma's birthday, then straight up 91 home.
