The amount of grease it takes to fill the cavity is more than most would ever put in...

The only way to get new grease to the inner bearing with a bearing buddy or the outer bearing with the EZ lube drilled spindle is to fill the hub cavity. If you don't, one bearing will never get lubed. Sounds like a really good system to me:rolleyes:

How can some one avoid looking at a burned out bearing or spindel easy close your eyes . How can you see if the bearings or spindel is ok with out removing the hub, cleaning and inspecting the seals ,bearings ,spindel ,and or beakes and or drum . How can one take a trip without this knowlage . Why do the factory or vendor supply bearing buddey on the new trailer ? It make the buyer think less work for just a few dollars more. Inspect ,detect ,correct still applys . BEARiNG is for boat trailers only and still must be carefull in use like wait till cool before backing in to water above the axle and inspecting after use or before long trips . Ron Bissett

From what I have read, the EZ Lube hub can cause seal leakage if too much grease is pumped in too fast. It has to go somewhere, and sometimes it is out the seal.
