Seeing what you pull with your truck, I would look for higher quality parts. The ebay seller doesn't say parts origin which probably means China. I'd use Spicer, USA Timken, Koyo or the like. Unless you have a clam shell puller you will also need set up bearings that you can slide on and off while you set ring gear tolerances.
 
I still have the old bearing which are good but I was watching a video where they polished the pinion shaft just enough the bearings could slide easily to setup the gear contact pattern
 
Personally, I wouldn't "polish" the pinion to make setup easier. Bearings are press fit for a reason.
Also, FYI, there is a different bearing preload spec for new vs used bearings.

No need to do that if you just exchange the bearings.
The shims are there for the case and gear manufacturing tolerances, mainly case.

The bearing tolerances are way smaller then any shim thickness will ever be.
So if you just change the bearings you are at the exact same setting were it was.

I learned that the hard way, changing the gear contact pattern on an old gear set results in a noisy differential. Even if the pattern is not optimal, leave it alone.

Measuring and shims are only needed if you change the gear set or the carrier.
