Check Engine Light... Bad Turbo Actuator!

As far as I'm concerned, the turbo must be part of the 100k mile warranty, as the engine cannot meet emissions nor power rating without the turbo. That's what I would argue in court. They must cover it. It is an integral mandatory part of the engine, without which it cannot function correctly.

I'm sure the turbo is part of the 100k mile warranty … But I just turned 120K... I just need a truck that runs.... I'm not impressed with the new RAMS. I feel Chrysler has forgotten QUALITY IS JOB ONE.

I don't recall Chrysler using that slogan and while possible, I'd say not likely for risk of following Ford's lead. It was one of Ford's main advertising slogans for many years.

Recently had actuator failure, 35,789 mi and 38 months old (2016 3500 lb 4x4 cc tradesman) . Melted actuator and wiring pig tail. Fix was totally covered. I have mopar extended warranty and was told that wasn’t used in the repair. Now I only wonder if the extended warranty would cover this in say 3 years from now and 30,000 mi later .( warranty is 7/85,000)
