Well, it's time to get on with doing this. Has anyone out there experienced both of these products long enough to tell me how they hold up over time?

I guess I've heard nothing but good reports on the Line-X; but of course I'm telling myself that if I do the Herculiner myself, I could spend the savings on HP... #ad

How hard is it to do the liner yourself (over the rail)?

How does it look 2 years later?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks-
Mike

Well Mike, can't speak for how long it'll last, since I've only had the Herculiner in the truck about 2 months. It was real easy to put in. The hardest part was getting the bed clean. I did mine over the rails and it looks great #ad
Only thing is it just isn't real thick. They recomend 2 coats, but, not being one to follow instructions, I only used one. Hey, I've got a little left over if I do scrape it up somewhere. If you have a long bed, you'll need a quart besides the gallon kit. Still, at about $130 bucks, I've got no complaints.

HE I DID THE HERCULE LINE AND IT HAS BEEN IN FOR A YEAR AND IT IS STILL LIKE IT WAS WHEN I DID THE JOB YES THE HARDEST PART IS GETTIND THINGS CLEAN BUT IF YOU TAKE THE TIME THE JOB COME OUT GREAT PLAN TO PUT A SECOND COAT ON THIS YEAR AND I DID OVER THE RAIL YOUSED THE PINE STRIP AS MY LINE I ALSO DID MY DOOR SILLS GOOD STUFF GO AND DO THE JOB
