Has anyone used any of the do it yourself bed liners like Herculiner and if so how long have you had it on and how is it holding up? I am at the point of doing something else besides the slip in bed liner, kind of tired of everything sliding around in the bed but I am reluctant to spend the $400. 00 to $500. 00 for the sprayed in liners.

Thanks,
Paul

I shopped the spray in guys Flatlander & did the Rhino on the 95 & did Diamond Liners on the 96. The Rhino was ~$450 & the Diamond was ~$325. Things slide a little more on the Diamond liner. The Diamond Liner is not as good as the Rhino. The Rhino didn't give as much when you walk on it. I think it's due to being a little thicker, but definately a different material. My vote would be to have a good quality spray in done & shop the price & go see one after they do it. Mucho better than the do-it-yourself. One of the daughters boyfriends did it & it looks good for awhile, but is no-where as durable. By the way, get it sprayed over the top of your bed rail. #ad

I'm with Forrest, the extra few bucks are worth it to have it done professionally. The guarantee is nice too. I had Rhino liner sprayed in mine 4 years ago. I can tell you it is tough stuff. I would suggest doing any mods to your bed BEFORE spraying it in though. I made the mistake of spraying it in before installing the camper kit. Had to use a die grinder to notch it out to fit. Made a easy install a pain. I always have something banging around in my truck bed and it still looks good. I also have a rubber mat on the bed which virtually eliminates slipping around. I will never have a slip in bedliner again.
