Bed Rail Cap and Gate protector

I'm looking for an online place to get daimondplate bed rail caps and a full tailgate protector. I tried my local 4wd shop, but it seems 9 times out of 10 when I go there, they **** me off.

Tonight it was 20 minutes of waiting for someone to help me before I walked out.

Do you have a Tractor Supply Company around? They carry a-lot of that stuff w/o the specialty shop markup.

Mine are made by Dee Zee and I'm very happy with them. I ordered them through a local farm supply store though they should be readily available from internet vendors.

How is the stainless holding up to scratching, etc.

I wasn't sure about that, which is why I'm leaning towards diamondplate.

So far it is holding up well. I like the Dee Zee rail caps better, and they are holding their finish better than the Putco tailgate cap. Neither is showing much in the way of scratches/blemishes, but the bed rails are holding luster better, and don't have any surface blemishes, the tailgate cap has developed several. They do come out with polish. FWIW, they have been tortured with snow & salt-laden road gunk this winter, and my Tonneau cover has been off for over a month.

I went with aluminum diamond plate because I like the look and it doesn't show scratches. It does easily scratch, they just don't show with all the diamonds. The Dee Zee aluminum products have a thin coating od some kind of plastic on them. You can't see it when they are new because it is so clear and thin but after they get scratched and beat up the water will get behind it and make it more obvious. I'm not saying they are a bad product or that they look bad because of the coating but I wouldn't try to polish them. My $. 02
