Its too hot and I don't feel like crawling under my 3500 today. So can somebody please tell how I remove the 3500 3rd gen bed. I have removed my 2nd gens before but not the 3rd gen. I work outside all week and I want to stay inside and watch some road racers win at the glen.

I am putting a new 35oo bed on since mine got damaged. I tried to replace my fathers f-250 bed the other day with a new one and found that all of his bolts are covered with undercoating and can't be removed. I broke three torx bitz. Chop em off and buy new ones for $64. I am just hoping that's not what I am going to experience with my 3500.

Did I mention that I have 4 f-250 take off beds for sale. And a blue 2nd gen 3500 minus the fenders.

I cant say for sure, but I dont think you will have a problem. The bolts are not undercoated and are easliy accessable. Shouldnt be too much rust on them yet. Hey, you wouldnt happen to have another 3rd gen dually bed. How badly damaged is your bed. I've been thinking of converting to a DRW.

I do have my bed with a linex in her and a B&W gooseneck in the floor. The passenger side panel and fender are shot. I drove away from a building and did not see this pole, painted same color as the building and five feet out from the building in a parking spot. bad luck the rest is good. I also have a 2nd gen bed minus the dual fenders with a fifth wheel in the bed complete w/tail and bumper.

ok I just got under the bed, this is what I have found. Four bolts up towards the cab are easily seen, however I don't see anything in the wheel wells or aft. tell me where to look.

There are acess holes in the bottom of the frame rails in the rear. The bolts go up through the top of the rail into the bed.
