Installed a bed rug over the weekend. Pretty slick item. Not sure if it will hold up as well as a drop-in or spray-in but it sure looks nice. They did a really nice job forming it to the bed and the padding is really nice. I don't haul much back there except a quad so we'll see how it holds up. Is pretty spendy but in this case, you get what you payed for.

Anyone running a shell should definatly consider.

What swivel just said! I installed mine and love it. With my Leer tonneau cover it gives me great place to haul my generator and camping gear.

And another vote in favor...

I put my Bed Rug in shortly after purchasing my '03. Really saves wear and tear on my knees... So far have hauled mostly engines and some heavy stuff, but no dirt.

I have a tool box, and no top. Guess it would be nice to have a tonneau cover on occasion, but haven't found one that works well with the Tool box...

Rust and using without a Tonneau Cover?

I really like the Bed Rug, but was wondering how it would stand up to use without a cap or tonneau cover? I was concerned about moisture being trapped between the rug and the box, resulting in rust?

Has anyone had one of these for a length of time?

Mine's been on since December with no cover. Sun and rain, parked outside 7x24. I see no difference now than when I put it in. The material is similar to a wetsuit on the bottom and carpet on the top. Fits in the grooves in the bed to make the top side flush. I really can't see it falling apart other than from some seriously caustic chemicals. We'll see in a couple years...

Had the "RUG" on my 02 then put it in my 03 "LOVE IT". I have had mud, fuel, oil and all other sorts of garbage on it and it cleans up like new everytime, just pressure wash it out let it dry and it's ready to go.
