My dealer uses Line-X and offered to call over and hook me up for the same pricing the dealer pays... . 275. 00 Cash... . (bed, tailgate and over the rails)this to me was a good deal after calling around... He's now done 4 trucks for me... and several I've sent to him... . He's been a good partner to do business with... . and the only thing that he says shouldn't be spilled on the bed liner is the diesel fuel additive... something in it seems to soften it up... .

I've got one truck with over 250K miles and we put stuff in the bed all the time with a forklift and pull it out the same way... Its scratched and has some rub spots but overall based on the way we use them... I'm pleased...

The "local" (48 miles) Speedliner Dealer spent 45 Minutes on the phone (much more then the "local" line-x and rhino dealers who just gave me prices ) She")(Robyn) seemed to take a lot more time and effort then "Line-X or Rhino" and seemed to take a lot more pride in the product (hand sanding and such) But can I trust my new 2005(even with Kevlar) to them for a truck which will not see a lot of bedliner abuse?

I have used RhinoLiner since 1998 and never a problem, my son has had good luck as well. I think they are all good, I know many that swear by Line-X and I would have no problem putting that on a truck. I would not necessarily go by a dealer's recommendation. I would insist on references and seeing some of the work done by whoever I chose to do the application. I have seen some very bad over-the-rail jobs and I think that over-the-rail makes the most sense.

I researched them all and I went with Line-X because it seemed more durably than the others. Alot depends on the installer because I seen alot of bad spray jobs. No complaints with Line-X. I have some before and after pictures if you would like to see. Good luck.

I have friends with Rhino liners. Some of them have had problems with pieces of the liner coming loose and they've all had problems with the liner material being cut when they put stuff in and out of it. I went with the Line-X over the rail on my new truck. Seems to be a tougher material to me.

Not trashing Rhino - but I've seen what they're talking about first hand with the cuts and missing pieces.

The only knock I've heard on Line-X is that guys I know who live in the cold country say it gets real slick when it's cold out and stuff slides around in the bed??? Haven't seen that one first hand though - I live in the Arizona desert. My 2 1/2 cents.

I've got the Line-X. I found a good dealer who has been around for awhile. The installer has done over 2000 trucks, and did a beautiful job. The reason I went with the Line-X, is that they were the closest spray-in dealer close to my house that had the most qualified/competant installer/shop. There are some other shops, with off brand liners, but they were a bunch of kids. Always in a hurry and *****in about something. Good place for vent shades or running boards, not spray-in bedliners.

I would go with whoever has done the most installs and been in business for awhile. They all have warranties, and the products are all pretty close in the formula dept. , at least that is my take. I would talk with the guy doing the actual work, that is what sold me.

If you are in SE MI, Brighton Line-X did mine, $400

I have heard the same thing, but have not seen it. I have never had a problem with the bed getting chewed up, but that is supposed to be under the warranty on any of these spray-ons.

I have Line-X and have found it to be an extremely consistent finish. I did manage to damage it, however! I was hauling a washer and a dryer for a friend and in the process of sliding them in I managed to gouge the Line-X. Didn't go all the way through it, but it's definetly gouged. I could get it repaired for free, but its so minor I figure I'll wait for something more serious to happen to it before doing that.

I had Rhino in the 94, Arma Tuff in the 99 and Line-X in the 01. Out of all of them I liked the Line-X the best (seemed to have the most durability and was more impervious to the sun). I will do Line-X in the 04 as well.

Rhino is easier on your knees. I've had it since 1991 in my last two trucks. Completely satisfied. LineX is less sticky and probably a little tougher. Your choice, both are good.

I think they are all pretty equal. I've seen missing pieces on LineX and Rhino. I have a Rhino this go round because of the installer reputation. In talking to him, he said the key is the prep work. Scuff and then acetone prior to installation. If that's not done correctly, the liner will come loose.

I have the rhino and will say that stuff doesn't move around and I like that. As to over the rails, to each his own, but I wanted something Shiny on the rails and am very glad I went that direction. More $$$, but small consideration with the cost of this beast. good luck, doc

I shopped around before getting my line-x. Rino has better grip than line-x but im sliding rolls of carpet out and dont want that. i have seen some line-x beds that have faded over the years though. the one thing i didnt like is when i had to get it repaired the dealer just took jb weld and filled the hole. then they had some mix that they spred over it. other than that i love it. covers rust real good too :-laf

I've done LineX with two trucks, I like to do over the rail and then put the black anodized rail covers over them. I also wear a belt and suspenders :)
