It's pretty nice, but if I had to do it over again, I'd probably just get the Jackrabbit, which is the non-powered version. This is cool, though. It's not as water tight as my 03 QC 1500 was with a fiberglass lid.



The powergate works with the regular lock/unlock switch. There's also an extra wiring harness on the Bedlocker that I need to stow away.

I've been thinking of the PowerGate for my truck since I've installed the A. R. E. Cap to have lockable storage. What's your overall impression of the quality of the unit? Was it fairly easy to install?
 
It was very easy since I had a shop install it with the Bedlocker. So far it seems like a very nice product. They said it wasn't too difficult to install. It works with the vehicle's lock/unlock remote.
