gun safe question

I am not looking at getting a super-duper safe, but only something that will keep guns away from petty thieves, not some profesional. This is because crime is almost non existant where i live, and due to having boarding stables people are there all the time. I just want a safe that will keep out somebody that's just snooping around.

here's the question:

I've been looking at the sentry safe offered from cabela's. It's cheap- I know yo get what you pay for, but i wanted to see if anyone here knew anything about these safes. Like i said, i don't want a vault, just something simple and inexpensive, that would take more than a minute to break into  .

thanks-

Bass Pro Shops carries a couple different brands, including their own. Pretty reasonably priced. www.basspro.com Check in the hunting section. Believe the selection at the store is better than the online, but it gives you some ideas.

DHorton

checked out the site, but the sentry from cabelas still seems like what i want.

Has anyone had/seen one of these? don't want to buy a peice of junk!

There are several safe vendors that show up at our local gun shows. They will discount the safes at the end of the show so they don't have to take them home. Shipping from another area is going to eat you up.
