Well many of you have helped with my questions and I think it is only fair to show you what you have helped build. I bought this truck from my dad, I remember riding in it when I was in Jr. High. I am 26and have a little different taste than dad. Dad bought an 2005 CTD. What do you guys think?

Looking very good. Better get something to protect the rocker panels though. AFter I pulled the running boards that my dad installed on my 93, rocks pelted the rocker panels, and a short 5 years later one rocker panel is nearly gone from rust. :( I was old enough to drive my dad's truck to school when he got it, then I 'aquired' it in 95. I too pulled the hubcaps and painted the rims black. ;)

Very nice ride.

Those are actually new wheels and tires. I went to a 8 inch wide 16 inch steel wheel with 285/75/16 all the way around. Now that I have a wide tire on it I am a bit worried about rocks. It rides so much smoother now with some rubber underneath it.

I will post better pics tomorrow.

I am in search of a GOOD complete:

Driver fender

front bumper

grille

header panel

inner fender

I am in Elgin, IL.

Tires!

I've been looking to put 285/75r/16 's on my truck. It is the same model as your but 4x4. Did you have to put a lift on the truck to get them to clear ok? I just do't want them hitting the fenders or anything else. Do you think I could squeeze 295/75r/16 's under it?

I had to trim a small amount of trim off the lower fender on the inside. They barely rub when turning sharp and the body rolls. My HD coils laying in the floor should resolve this. Not sure how much the new front coils will lift the truck??? The 295's should clear without any trouble on a 4x4. I wish mine was the same height as a stock 4x4!![/IMG]#ad
