How to get rid of unwanted email?

Oregon Is About To Explode

Well it has been over two weeks and Reno Dodge is ignored my letters, phone calls, and E-mails. I guess I have to get an attorney to get this settled. If you did not read my post "Reno Dodge" this is a short version of what happened. My 98. 5 isb died while on a trip. Reno Dodge told me that the lift pump was bad. Then they said the injector pump was bad. There were no troble codes. I get my truck back, after Reno Dodge "fixed" it. I get about 30 miles from Reno and it dies, doing the same thing it did when I took it to Reno Dodge. I looked at it myself and found out the filter was bad. I got one in Susanville and the truck ran good, but it had a bad fuel leak and loss of power. I get the truck back up to Oregon and another dealer told me about a TBS saying that if you losen the high pressure fuel lines the injector tubes must be replaced or it will leak and cause loss of power. I ended up over $1,500 because all it needed was a filter. Has anyone had any dealings like this before? I really don't want an attorney, and I would like to get this taken care of soon. Thank You

Sorry to hear about your trouble, but mistake like this do happen. As I was filling up for fuel my truck died shortly later (didn't even get far enough to leave the gas station). I towed it with another truck up to the Dodge dealer and they looked at it and said that the injection pump is dead and would require replacement after $3200. So I refused to accept that my injection pump was toast so the following weekend I towed it Cummins. After they looked at it they got it running with only a $210 as the problem was not the injection pump, but air trapped in the fuel system.

I hope you get if figured out.

FYI I had 101,000 miles on it, so DC paid half. I would not mind paying for something that needs to be repaired. I don't like paying for someone else mistake. I am pleased that DC paid for half, thats more than I was expecting.

lgibson,

I am not sure if you would need an attorney from Nevada or if it would matter where he would practice. If you do not have an attorney and could use one from Oregon, check out John Cosgrave. . he's in the Portland Yellow Pages-and goes after dealers and manufacturers pretty much exclusively.

Good luck... ...

Thanks guys, I will give John Cosgrave a call. I hate tring to find a good attorney, there are to many bad ones around and no way to tell til its to late.
