Bell turbos, anyone have one???

Heres a question I haven't seen asked yet - What about low end surge? if I am towing a trailer down the road at 1600 rpms is it gonna be in its happy place or is it gonna be rude? By BD has beed so well mannered and would want something close to that, but I think I will be needing more air. Is the SP66 really peaky, or is it really smooth? what kind of price? Thanks

I was told there's a mild surge at 1800 rpms at extremely light loads. Apparently it's easy to drive around. I just hope that with my 3. 73's and 35's it isn't bad. I was just on the freeway, and 1800-1900 is right at about 65-70. I don't think I'd be too happy if I get surging at those speeds. Here in the SF Bay Area I travel at those speeds regularly. Too many people on the road to go much faster. I have to wait to get away from the bay to open it up a bit...
