goodyear gator back belt solved my chirp problem as well

I love my chirp. I hate it when colder temps come along and it doesn't chirp as much.

I replaced my serpentine belt about 6 months ago with a DAYCO belt. It is a cogged version belt. No chirp at all since the replacement hot or cold temp.



Bought thru RYDER online. $20. 74 + ship. = $28. 69 UPS to my door.

anyone know if the pulley fits?

03's to 06's have a TSB out for that problem. Involves installing a one way clutch on your alternator pulley. Can't see why you couldn't buy one and put it on the 98. 5 to 01's.

I was wondering that myself its this TSB you are talking about, anyone know if the pulley fits?

try a goodyear gator back belt it worked for me

the chirp is the fan belt... I had it too and the gatorback fixed it...
