Does anyone have any info on the life of the belt that runs all the accessories? What would be a prudent mileage to change it before trouble occurs? What are some of the warning signs when you inspect it? All the service manual seems to say is to inspect and replace if necessary.

I have 125k on my stock belt, looks fine. Just keep your eye out for fraying on the edges and cracks on the outside.

I had a 98 that I changed at 65,000 miles befora pulling the travel trailer on a 5,000 mile trip. I kept it for a spare and the new one gave me piece of mind. It was hot in the desert of AZ. I thought better safe than sorry.
