Well the bearing has once again gone south on my belt tensioner. I checked with my buddy at the dealer and his computer shows that he can only order and entire assembly and his price is over $150! The last time this bearing went bad i was able to get just the roller with a new bearing for dirt cheap. Of course i can't remember where i got it. If someone has a part # for just the roller on the tensioner or knows where i can get just that part, it would be great!

Thanks in advance.

Napa should have both in stock, the pulley or complete unit. Not sure if the first gen. is the same or not. Part # for the 1st. gen. pulley is Napa-- 209765, inside the box is OEM Dayco # 00122. The 1st. gen complete unit is Napa # 38157 for $140. 00, however it is heavier duty than the OEM. My 1st. gen. OEM complete unit is Dayco # 3912254.

You can search Advance Auto Parts online at advancautoparts.com. Even check to see what local store may have your item in stock.

I bought the Heavy Duty Cummins Idler Puller from Practical Solutions Diesel Products about 4 years ago and have had no problems at all since then. Great product with great customer service, they sent it out when I called and trusted me to follow up with the check.

What concerns me more than the bearing is the tensioner spring. So it may not be a bad idea to get the whole thing. My dad had a cadillac that the tensioner spring broke and left him stranded.
