I got an email mentioning that a rear bench seat was available for the 1st gen club cab trucks... Has anyone seen/had/bought/owned/etc anything like this? I am VERY interested, as it would make the earlier club cab trucks much more user-friendly for me.

I asked about this a while back. Did a search to retreive the thread but couldn't find it. There is a company in Canada called CAN-AM CRUISERS that offers a nice rear bench seat for 1st gens. I don't believe they have a web site. When I inquired on the board, someone gave me their phone # but I can't seem to find it. Maybe that person will reply again to this post.

Here is the web site and original email from the company that I contacted -

Subject: Re: Dodge Club Cab Seat Pricing

Dear Martin:
The cost of the dodge club cab seat is $425. 00US Dollars. The seat belts are
$30. 00US each.

The seats are available in red, grey and tan. They are shipped UPS Collect.

To get a price on shipping, contact your local UPS office and ask them for a
quote on freight collect from postal code V1X 4R2 in Kelowna , British
Columbia to your Zip Code. The dimensions of the carton are approx 56" long
x 14" X14" and the weight is 60pounds. They will provide you with a shipping
cost and confirmation number.

All seats are shipped after payment has been received.

Installation is very simple, it would take about 45 minutes for the first
time.

Thank you
Darlene

The rear seat out of the 95 & newer trucks fit into the older ones with hardly any modifications. Buddy of mine did that to his 93 & it fits real nice.

Seems like you would need to have real short legs to use one. At 6'3" I think I would have a problem fitting! Just my $. 02 worth.

paccool - you just need to go visit Doc Tinker and have the legs shortened up. Even the Ford/Chevy/Dodge extented cabs are tight for me but the kids don't mind and maybe in another 10 years (after kids are bigger) DC will make a full 4 door cab.
