Is that a cast iron turbo manifold?? or other?

In my usual high unlimited budget designs, I used a couple cast ATS manifolds, and tig welded the rest with mild steel. Special cast to steel tig rod.

The rest is all steel. I wanted to put an expansion joint in the center but will do that after the show, and then get them all coated.

Crafty. Very Crafty... ... ... ..... :p

Scott... ... ... . Let me know how the exhaust manifold works. A discussion with Jeff in on going. If you can, see if one cylinder gets any more heat than another. That is very interesting.

I may even share the readings from the new data logger. We have 8 EGT's, 1 per cylinder, and 1 each in the turbin inlets. 12 pressure taps to watch things like drive pressures / boost / fuel pressure / and more. Just no fuel flow yet...

May even have a schfincter compression pressure sensor on the driver... See how tight it gets when the turbo pops... ...

That's my next money project... ... . data logger. I'm courious to see how the rail is going to run with the new air!

Jim

I will be selling the old one soon. PM if interested. It is a Qwikdata, Edelbrock, basic drag package.

New photos of the car, nearly ready for the Sema show... . Waiting on graphics and a few more things... The intake is temporary, the carbon scoop is still in the molding shop.

The cool part, is I can now walk up and pull the valve cover without taking anything off. In addition, there is 130 pounds of weight moved back nearly 3 feet. Weight distribution is much better now.
