How much chemical/thermal energy exists in a gallon of diesel fuel? How much energy does it take to move a Dodge Ram 100 miles over a flat road, ignoring thermal losses inherent in a heat engine and taking into account only drive train losses and friction? Someone should be able to figure it out.

Let me give you my guess as to how this guy will work this.

He will not try to sell this system to a customer, because that would run him afoul of the fraud laws. He won't try to sell stock because that would run him afoul of the Sec. & Exch. Commission. He'll get people's attention and string them along, maybe even let them drive one of his cars, then he'll say he just needs a "loan" for... the Patent Atty, or for some more "pressure chambers" or whatever. It is not against the law for someone to borrow money and never pay it back. This is how he will scam honest folks.

quick background checks yielded no historical info about mr caggiano's adventures with the brockton police and feds, no record of a police chief named richard sprawls or any police shenanigans involving cocaine. i wasn't very thorough but i should have found SOMETHING to corroborate his story.

he does have the patent. but that doesn't mean his gadget works, or even that one exists at all.

as pointed out by others, the photos of his 'installations' don't hold up to close scrutiny.

his whole story is exactly the kind of stuff people eat up: conspiracy, little guy against the feds/corporations, etc. ; top it off with a too-good-to-be-true promise and pretty soon peeps are lining up to fork over their cash.

i'll gladly eat my words if this guy's story pans out

no offense to Cummins98, i know he was just passing on what sounded like good info.

See he takes the trouble to put in the "police shenanigans" so that when he absconds with people's cash, and they try to get their money back, he can say he is being persecuted by corrupt cops. Guys like this depend on good-hearted folks. My GF's Grandad lost a LOT of money to a very well-spoken, professional con who had known the old man for many years. He set the scam up so that it was extremely difficult for her to prosecute. She never got a penny back of the ten's of thousands of dollars the guy got away with. That was 4 years ago. You learn a lot when somebody screws you badly.

I agree guys, it does looks a little off color to me also. Like I said we were told we would get one of these devices for no money so a person can't go wrong there. Of course I have no clue if he actually sends anything or not.

Ok, I finally took a look at the link and I just briefly looked at the Pontiac that this "thing" is hooked to..... now I'm no major expert in the atomization of fuel, etc. but I did get my degree in Automotive Technology and I have what I consider to be a little common sense (either that or I'm too stupid to realize I don't )... . none of this is directed at anyone here on TDR, these are just my observations of this guys iso called invention.



since I can't tell where every connection on this thig goes, I can't be completely sure how he has it connected,,,,,,,but. after only looking at the set up for less than a minute I have to assume he has spliced this thing in series with the fuel line to the carb in order to atomize the fuel before it enters the carb, right?



Ok, if thats the case, my first observation is the "T" fitting in the line, where does that go? My next observation is the fact that there is a good length of copper line from the device to the carb that would allow the fuel to possibly stabilize into a liquid again (if the atomization actually worked to begin with) before it reached the "FUEL FILTER".....



Now wouldn't you want the fuel filter before the device to filter the fuel prior to entering the device "and" to prevent a restriction at the carb,,,,,,do you think the atomized fuel would travel freely, first though a length of copper line and then through a fuel filter and reach the carb fuel bowl, go through the carb bowl and into the venturis and then into the intajke of the engine and then into each individual chamber... ... ... not...



He would have had better luck trying to pull the wool over the eyes of people with fuel injection, at least then he could have stated that the fuel was going directly to the chamber..... Just don't send this guy any money..... and if I'm somehow proven wrong, then I will publicly apologize right here... ...

OK, how the heck do you vaporize fuel, then inject it into a diesel engine? He claims to have one installed on a Mercedes diesel.

I remember reading about a system Smokey Yunick was working on in the early '80's that involved heating, swirling and turbo charging the air/fuel charge for a gasser. I think he was installing it on a Fiero. Now that I think about it, I was in junior high and it may have been an April issue of what ever car mag. I was reading.

I do believe systems like this exist, and I'm sure the oil companies have lots of patents locked up. It'll be interesting to see how this thing works for CumminsPower98.
