Just wandering what brake pads you guys have tried and how they worked out? I bought my wife a truck and it had just had a set of pads put on it and they squeak like crazy. So I'm fixing to replace them along with my truck's pads also. The factory pads seem to be pretty darn good. What do you guys think?

The factory pads are pretty darn good. I've been through 2 sets of NAPA pads towing trailers for 250,000 miles, and they are pretty good, but they are dusty too.

I think I'm gonna go back to the factory pad next trip 'round.

Go to Napa/Auto Zone/Advance & tell them that you want a set of fleet pads. They are special order, but worth the wait. When you install them... ride them hard for a break in period. They wear better when you get them really hot on initial break in. They are made of commercial quality & last twice as long. If they get hot enough to glaze over... you broke them in right. This is no B. S... . I believe that they are around $75 set.
