Whats the best deal anyones got on an 04. I was thinking a person should be able to get invoice plus all incentives, whats the best luck anybodys had? Does any body actually have a true idea of what a dealer has in a $35,000 truck. It seems to me as if the invoice truly isnt an invoice anymore, because most dealers say they are selling at invoice.

as far as invoice price, I went with what was listed at kbb.com and it matched to the dollar what I saw at the dealer. I bought for $300 under invoice, minus rebates.

Nick

Tomeygun on this list will sell at 20% under sticker.

Is 20%of the sticker plus rebates. if so, that sounds like a pretty good deal. The reason being, is that while i was travelling in colorado (two weeks ago) in the paper I saw an ad for loaded ho 2500 quad cab 4x4 for 31,950. According to what my local dealer says and kelley blue book invoice - 2500 rebate would still be about 2500 higher. the ad didnt say whether or not the 31950 included rebate or not. Ill have to check back, but when i showed it to my dealer here in Indiana he told me to just go buy the truck from them in a smart tone. So i guess he doesnt want my business after all.

I figured the loaded as just the Slt package . The ad was for Broadway Dodge, Littleton Colorado. Not that I like to endorse people, but there are enough non competitive dealers out there that it doesnt hurt to throw business to the competitive ones.

I got a good deal such as you asked about, and excellent service at Saitta Trudeau Dodge in Pahrump (near Las Vegas). I dealt with Steve Corsaut there.

fbaurley,

All I can say is do your homework by starting with the website below. There are other web sites out there, but this is the one I use and know the best. It's very detailed. Choose your vehicle, options, etc. and it will list the MSRP and Invoice price. Very accurate.

This past friday. I ordered 2004 3500 srw longbed 2wd, larime, heated seats, bed cover, ever option including block heater, didn't order 4. 10 rear. did order, locking gas cap, wheel locks, dc mud flaps, wiring package, also bundled in after market, spray bedliner, tint dr/p windows, grill guard, all came to 38K. then applied 500. 00 farm rebate, 100. 00 dealer coupon. dealer is bbdodge.com. here in texas. contact is Jim Belt. very professional. dealership didn' t play games. yes i could have saved some more if i had hunted more out of state. mark

With the 03's at $4500 rebate and the 04's at $2500 rebate, what made the $2000 difference for you guys? What was your reasoning for going with the 04 instead of the 03?

My other question deals with the On the Job Commercial Rebate, Farm Bureau Rebate, and College Grad Rebate. First are they all still available and if so..... do they let you combine any or all of these rebates? The College Grad Rebate is worth $400, Commercial $300, and Farm Bureau $500. It would sure be nice if I can add on another $1200 in rebates on top of the regular rebates.

Are there many 03's still available? I've kept my distance from the dealer ever since buying my 02 last year cause I know once I get in a 3rd generation truck I'll want it. My payments will be cheaper on a new one then what I'm paying now if I get all the rebates. I still haven't been in a new one, well an 02 gasser if you want to count that, but not in a new diesel. I'm going to be looking for a 2500/3500 HO 6spd 4x4 SLT Shortbed most likely in white. I'm proud that I was able to stay away so long, but with interest rates and rebates being where they are, I think I have to find a way to get a new one.

I would recommend finding the dealer you want to work with. My local dealer stated to me face to face (owner). We (dealership) are unable to sell it to you at the price you have. Then ask them point blank which ones can be used and can they be bundled. Doesn't hurt to get it in writing. I used farm, 0% on balance for 3. Traded in 2002, getting built 04 3500 slw, all goodies excpet 4. 10/4x4. in white. Reason for not getting 2003. You are upside down from stage one. I do not buy first year production. Upgrades on 2004 are not always public knowledge. 47re/48re? head rests for rear (puny at that). 2003 here in texas are getting really short, most are black, red, with funny setups. if you like a 2003 make sure you get some really really good price as it is worth so much less when you buy it. It is wise to spec out a truck at dodge site, print it out. then go to other sites like edmons, etc. Do a build at those sites, see the invoice price listed. that should be your max purchase price (period). All other prices are just that other. Dealer may say "well we will take care of you after sale" right! how many people can and do say "Dealer took care of me and continues to". Note: max pruchase price is most you pay prior to rebates, etc.

Kyle this is what you get. 03-4500 rebate 04 2500 rebate or your choice of low finance. Me I took the 2500 rebate on the 04 + 500 Farm Bureau and they got me 3. 4 finance. That was cheaper than my credit union at 3. 69

Who you gonna call???

You guys looking for new trucks 03 or 04s owe it to yourself to call Tomeygun. He has some special incentives until the 31st of this month. It only costs a phone call and you won't get any BS. He will give you the price straight up almost as fast as you tell him what options you want. Call 314-966-0630 and ask for Tom Chaney. PM me if you want details.

I'm in the process of ordering one now. With my option choices mine listed at $40,000 and my dealer will sell it at $32,999. That's after the current $2500 rebate though so it works out to MSRP minus 11. 25% not including rebates, coupons, etc. That's on a factory order rather than one off the lot, which probably makes a difference to the dealer. I think I'm getting a pretty good deal, no?
