Gents,

I'm still undecided on whether to go with the prodigy or the jordan brake controller for my truck. Let me hear what ya'll think. I like the Jordan for the mechanical system versus the prodigy's electronics. But I'm still open to convinicing. Also where's the best deal on either of these controllers?

TIA,

Jordan Brake lists the Jordan for $139. 00 plus $5. 00 shipping.

After switching from Kelsey Hayes to Jordan, I can't see how anybody could make one that works better then the Jordan.

The Prodigy is an Interia-Activated device where the Jordan is a mechanical connection to the brake pedal.

This subject has been discussed numerous times.

If you do a search, you should find everything you need,

including costs. As to Camping World, they were selling

the Prodigy a while back, online for $104. 10.

As I stated earlier,a search will give a lot of prices and

comparisons of Jordan V. Prodigy.

Somebody posted a company in Texas that sells the Prodigy for $125 free shipping. This is where I bought mine. I've only used it 5 times so far. It's way superior to the Tekonosha Voyager I was using. Try searching this forum under Prodigy. The Texas company should pop up.

Also rjays.com Prodigy is 116. 99 plus shipping ($7 or so).

Southwest wheel will charge you state sales tax since you are in TX.

I can't give you a comparison - I have never used any other type before I got the Jordan, but it is absolutely fantastic!!! Once you have it set for your trailer you never have to think about it anymore. Doesn't matter if you're on the highway or in city driving - it just works!

I'm not going to bash the Prodigy though. Folks who have them are just as enthusiastic about them as the Jordan owners - I just liked the concept of the direct linkage between brake pedal travel and trailer braking force.

BTW - I talked to Jordan a few weeks ago and he said he wasn't using PayPal anymore.
