I'd ask for the Bosch part # for the 300 injectors, only ones I've found had a 155 spray angle, same as the 370's. 145 is the normal spray angle.

Piers,

Thanks for chiming in here. You are saying the 300's and 370's have the same spray angle so therefore this idea that I have been carrying around all this time that the 300's are not an optimal spray angle is false?

Mark confirmed what he said via email just now:

I am correct that you don't need the copper seals for the 191's. They are lapped and don't even need the green O-ring washers (dust seals) but we include them in our kit for customers if they want to use them.

The 753 part # has a 155 degree spray angle... . the same as the 370 injectors. That's one of the reasons for using the . 020" washers underneath them, to help cut down the angle a bit.

I asked the supplier what was going on and he says that I was sent 5 hole marine 320HP injectors by mistake (Piers, is this true, please?).

He still maintains that they have a 300HP 4 hole injector though, which he will swap if I want. I think I'll just get the . 020" washers and see how it works out.

Just a thought here. For the info and quick response you are getting already just give "the man" a call. I'd highly recommend just buying from Piers' you know your already getting the service so just buy the parts to. LOL Really either way (215's or 370's) Piers' will do you right. BTW I really like my 370's..... thanks Piers'. Good luck either way. Jeff

I already did buy from PDR to the tune of over $2200. 00 - see above and my signature/profile. It was only the injectors I got elsewhere.
