Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Best Exhaust??

I am getting ready to buy a 4" exhaust kit for my '97 CTD. I want to get the best all around system, taking into consideration such factors as sound, flow, quality, etc.



Any pointers as to which brands and/or systems to stear clear of or, on the other side, anything that you think is really great... All opinions appreciated!

Hi Chris,

A lot of TDR members seem to be very pleased with a rip rook system. I don't know the details, but I'm sure someone else will chime in. I don't know what kind is on my truck, but it is great as it sounds like a semi-truck. (I bought the truck with it on)

I recently put on a 4 " DPP and was very pleased with the install and absolutely love the sound. They are in Nashville. If you want we can meet and you can look at and hear mine. Mark is a good guy to deal with.
