I'm looking at a flat bed for my truck, whats the best out there, I'm not looking for something real fancy, must be steel, need something basic, but something that looks good. Wanting a louvred headache rack with reverse and brake lights on it, the sturdier the bed the better.

When you start a thread asking for members to tell you what is the best anything from beer to automobiles you will get a long string of posts trying to convince you to buy what they bought because if you buy what they chose, it ratifies their own decision and may even remove their own misgivings about their purchase.

There are bed manufacturers all over the US and in each region, there is probably a more common or more popular brand.

CM, now owned by Big Tex trailers, is manufactured in a small town in SW OK and is sold all through the OK/TX region and in other areas. They build a good product with a clean design, available in several models, and at fair prices. See their website by googling CM beds.

I bought one a year ago and am pleased with it. I haven't seen all other brands so won't try to tell you it is the best. I like it, your choice is up to you.
